i wanted to do something colorful. i also wanted to do something i liked. sooo.....
dinosaurs! what better way to go? i'm not sure the specific kind of dinosaur, here... i just went with it.
i actually had fun with the background! i feel successful with this background. took up most of my time on this but i enjoyed it.
do not reuse, modify, resubmit, etc, etc, etc without my permission! you wouldn't have permission to edit this anyway. watermarks exist for a reason.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWell, as the other Deviants have stated: The background is simply lovely and fits perfectly with the image. The colors are vivid without being overwhelming and that's always a plus. The detail you had put into the leaves and the dew captured my attention first off. The only downside I see is the eyes of the Dinosaur.
In my opinion, it looks as if s/he's staring blankly at something, no intent or intelligence as you often see with other Animal Art-forms.
But other than that? It's still a very wonderful piece, and you should be proud in your achievement. I'll be browsing your gallery.
